Terms and Conditions

London Aircraft Detailing Company Ltd ("LADC")


These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of aircraft detailing services by London Aircraft Detailing Company Ltd ("LADC", "we", "our", or "us") to customers ("you", "your").


By requesting, booking or accepting our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.


1. About LADC
London Aircraft Detailing Company Ltd provides professional aircraft detailing, cleaning, appearance enhancement and related services for private, corporate and commercial aviation customers.
Our services are carried out with a focus on quality, professionalism, discretion and care.


2. Services
LADC provides aircraft detailing services as agreed with the customer.
Services may include, but are not limited to:

  • Aircraft exterior detailing

  • Aircraft interior detailing

  • Cabin cleaning and presentation

  • Leather and upholstery care

  • Surface protection treatments

  • Specialist cleaning services

The exact scope of work will be confirmed before services commence.


3. Quotations and Acceptance
All quotations provided by LADC are based on the information available at the time of quotation.
A quotation may be affected by:

  • Aircraft condition

  • Size and type of aircraft

  • Access requirements

  • Location

  • Additional work requested

  • Time required to complete the service

A booking is confirmed once accepted by both parties.
LADC reserves the right to review or amend quotations where the scope of work changes.


4. Access and Customer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for ensuring that LADC has appropriate access to the aircraft and working area.
The customer must provide:

  • Safe access to the aircraft

  • Necessary permissions and approvals

  • Any required airport or facility access arrangements

  • Accurate aircraft information

  • Details of any restrictions or requirements

Delays caused by lack of access, missing permissions or operational restrictions may affect completion times and may result in additional charges.


5. Aircraft Condition
The customer acknowledges that aircraft may contain sensitive, aged or previously damaged materials.
LADC will take reasonable care when performing services; however, we cannot accept responsibility for:

  • Existing damage

  • Existing wear and deterioration

  • Previously weakened materials

  • Incorrect previous treatments

  • Hidden defects not reasonably identifiable before work begins

Customers should inform LADC of any known concerns or areas requiring special attention before services commence.


6. Specialist Materials and Surfaces
Aircraft interiors and exteriors may contain specialist materials including:

  • Leather

  • Wood veneers

  • Carbon fibre

  • Painted surfaces

  • Protective coatings

  • Specialist finishes

LADC will use professional methods and appropriate products. However, material response can vary due to age, condition, previous treatment and manufacturer specifications.
Where appropriate, we may recommend testing an area before full application.


7. Photography and Records
LADC may take photographs during and after services for quality control and service records.
Photographs will only be used for marketing, website content or promotional purposes where appropriate permission has been obtained.
Customer confidentiality will always be respected.


8. Confidentiality and Discretion
LADC understands the importance of confidentiality within the aviation industry.
We treat information relating to aircraft, owners, operators, locations, schedules and services as confidential.
We will not disclose customer information or aircraft details unless:

  • Required by law

  • Necessary to provide the service

  • Authorised by the customer

 

9. Payment Terms
Payment terms will be agreed before work begins.
Unless otherwise agreed:

  • Invoices are payable within the agreed payment period

  • Payment must be made in full before or after completion as agreed

  • Late payments may result in additional charges

LADC reserves the right to suspend future services where outstanding payments remain unpaid.


10. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Due to the specialist nature of aircraft detailing, cancellations and rescheduling may affect availability and resources.
Customers should provide as much notice as possible.
LADC reserves the right to charge for:

  • Short-notice cancellations

  • Lost working time

  • Additional costs incurred due to cancellation

Any cancellation charges will be communicated before they are applied.


11. Weather and Operational Delays
Aircraft detailing may be affected by:

  • Weather conditions

  • Airport restrictions

  • Aircraft availability

  • Flight schedules

  • Security requirements

  • Third-party delays

LADC will make reasonable efforts to complete services as planned but cannot be held responsible for delays outside our reasonable control.


12. Liability
LADC will perform services with reasonable care, skill and professionalism.
Our liability is limited to losses arising directly from our proven negligence or breach of contract.
We are not responsible for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses

  • Loss of profits

  • Aircraft downtime caused by circumstances outside our control

  • Pre-existing damage or defects

  • Damage caused by information or instructions provided incorrectly by the customer

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be excluded.


13. Insurance
LADC maintains appropriate business insurance cover for the services we provide.
Customers may request confirmation of insurance details where reasonably required.


14. Subcontractors
LADC may use trusted subcontractors or specialist suppliers where required.
Any subcontractors will be expected to maintain appropriate professional standards and confidentiality.


15. Force Majeure
LADC will not be responsible for delays or failure to perform services caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:

  • Severe weather

  • Airport restrictions

  • Industrial action

  • Government restrictions

  • Equipment failure

  • Security incidents

  • Other unforeseen events

 

16. Complaints
We aim to provide the highest standard of service.

17. Data Protection
LADC processes personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.

LADC reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
The latest version will be made available upon request or published on our website.


19. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
